Random Little Things
#16
Two random things:

One: Lottery tickets are absurdly fireproof. This is bad because there is no way to burn a losing ticket. Even covering them in phlogiston and hitting them with a weld tool doesn't seem to burn them. I guess if you REALLY wanted them to burn you could use CLF3 or toss them into the combustion chamber, but they look like they're made of paper, therefore it should be easier to burn them!

Two: Hopefully not giving away too much with this. When an organism enters existence from a reaction inside another organism it seems like the result should be a lot messier. I guess giving chemists another way to kill/grievously injure people with a single chem could be unbalanced, but the way this works now is jarringly underwhelming.

On the same end, perhaps fire proofing paper should be possible using chemistry.

Aluminum hydroxide maybe?

You can then be a pranky jerk and make joints that won't light.

Change proximity sensors to motion sensors.

Motion sensors in the sense of tripwires already exist, unless you want something like a room-wide sensor; but that's a bit too much.

Na, just make it so proximity sensors don't go off while traveling through mail tubes. That's really annoying when I'm trying to be a mail bomber.

Last I checked, you couldn't interact with tripwires or attach them to anything, has this situation been changed?

IR tripwires do nothing, they've been broken for some time. It would be nice if they worked, or perhaps amalgamated with prox sensors, so you have a choice that prox sensors could activate a trip-line laser in NSWE direction, or whether they activate like normal by standing on a tile near to it.

I wish we could attack proximity sensors to walls and such (unless we already can).

how bout getting rid of the useless cluttering broken lightbulb object and just have smashed fixtures drop a glass shard when you pull the broke bulb out? can at least recycle it that way, or smash a light if you're in desperate need of a sharp weapon or insulator

This would be intensely useful.

"the coffin has been welded shut by [insert name]."

The "the" isn't capitalized.

Speaking of coffins, chaplain should maybe start with nails in order to nail them shut. This should only work on coffins since they're made of wood.

Give propuffs/discount dans/etc a warning label maybe.

Propuffs as detective is fun until you grab the one labeled atropine and now a doctor is mad at you because you keep having heart attacks because atropine is only supposed to be used when your heart stops.

I mean on examine, e.g "Propuffs is not responsible for any injury occurred while smoking this product"

like real life smoking, except it can kill you faster.

If you make a hulk's butt into a buttbot it should be super load.
