Okay so while I think I like the idea and I think it has value to it to make the game better, I do kind of agree that as it is currently it is kind of kitsch and out of what SS13 should "feel" like.

I guess it could be solved by having a minimalistic arrow-like thing showing which way you got attacked from? I dunno, I do feel like the animation that is used makes it feel out of place, though.
