And with it pointed out, I notice it too.
I submitted 2 patched, a quick'n'shitty one that was implemented almost overnight, and a decent one well before that but is still in pending.
My hunch is that the decent one is causing a merge conflict, which causes the code-managers to put off looking at it.
So, you know, avoid doing that. Which is becoming increasingly impossible as the in-play code drifts further away fro the public code with every patch...
I'm not sure what could be done about that, short of trawling the implemented patches forum and doing every possible combination of merges with branch that touch the same files.
