Question about Mapping/Floor Levels

While there are other code bases that have this functionality.. I think Goon kept it simple so it's easier to implement things.
Easier to admeme without half the station losing power.
Easier to implement event zones/adventure zones without it layering into eachother.
Easier to add to debris field and such.

But there is an area that operates on Y levels and that's CENT COMM. Yea the end of shift area? it has multiplue floors if you access the command areas.
Shamefully you can't drag things down stairs and such. ( I tried)
So I am guessing that's why we don't have Y levels.. there is still alot of jank to them and adding them in now would not only make stations more complicated and maze like.. it will also have to change alot of the code to make it work.
