Minor Eggs on toast recipe does not work with Elvis bread

Relatively self-explanatory. When I added two eggs and a slice of Elvis bread to the oven and set it to 6 secs on low heat, I got back a single hard-boiled egg. I tried the same with plain bread and got out a perfectly good slice of eggs on toast, so the entire recipe isn't broken. Yet to have tried this with other bread types.
