There's probably going to be some disagreement over what needs to be prioritized, but knowing what people want, what people are working on, and the reasoning for both would help people understand each other more.
I'm sure there's lots of new features or improvements to existing ones that coders would like to work on, but it's faster, easier, or more important to do something that's less likely to get people excited
