What if the id had a chance to give you a near lethal shock at random when opening doors?
Another idea that could be fun would be that doors have a chance to purposely try to crush people with the id when they pass throughÂ
Would need to be not terribly obvious that you have a rigged id. Pherhaps youre just incredibly unlucky
