Right now breaches are very powerful due to the rapid atmos loss in the current model, the difficulty of repressurizing a room (takes a lot more gas than it used to it seems like), and the slowdown from cold. They are also very easy to create because of the common occurrence of welding tank explosions and the potency of various easily-produced flaming chem mixes.
The ghost drones are pretty much all that keeps these factors from justifying nerfs to chem or atmos, they should stay as-is.
(the cold slowdown is excessive though, especially when injured - also you should not be able to stay on fire in space!)
