i think it would be fun if you could scavenge together materials and make your own ammunition at workbenches and also i think you should also be able to modify guns such as the revolver, dart gun, .22 pistol, shotguns and other guns that utilize bullets/shells/etc to accept different types of ammunition 

i also think there should be a special gun oil chem that when applied to firearms allows them to fire faster
