Couple this with a way of replacing blood and hobo-operating theater could become fully operational and allow for neat black-market gimmicks. Can't really think of anything though. (Robust soda? or a new soda in the vending machines?)

Only problem from that point on-wards would be getting organs, though synth-plants could help with that, and artifact organs/hearts if that idea ever gets implemented.
