pistolwhipping would be based off of the size of the gun you are using
a .22 pistol would not do as much damage as clobbering someone in the face with a .357 but would also cost less stamina to hit than the .357
when it comes to shotguns, it should be a two-handed affair
striking someone with a shotgun should do lots of damage at the cost of a lot of stamina per swing
