You should become like uzzzz

What if instead of just chopping the brain out and bunging it in a robot body, cyborging was a bit more classic Doctor Who Cybermen? Chop up the old squishy human, slowly replacing the old parts with top-quality cyberbits.

Cyborg frame becomes
cyber-skeleton
"A mechanical exoskeleton. Necessary for all cyber-modification."
An exo-suit which can only be put on people who in are in position for surgery and have incisions in the base of their neck, each arm, each leg and their chest. Cannot be removed and is required for all other cyber-augmentations.

Cyborg chest becomes
cyber-torso unit
"An artifical torso unit. As well as being armoured and insulated, this unit can mount one tool module. Cyber-organs will be required."
Natural armour equivalent to an armour vest or possibly the captain's armour. Somewhat protects the organs from the effects of electricity. Only covers upper and lower torso. Butt must have been removed and chest must have been opened with a circular saw to install it. Any non-cyber organs within the chest cavity will fail. Cannot be removed once installed. Back slot becomes a tool module slot.

Cyborg arm becomes
cyber-arm
"An artificial arm that terminates in a specialised socket. Can quickly change between any tool in a tool module."
Same as the cyborg arms we have now, ends in a tool slot for use with tool modules built into the chest.

and

cyber-grasper
"An artificial arm that terminates in an advanced gripper, capable of picking up, putting down and throwing objects."
Can pick up and move around anything that humans can. Cannot use the things it picks up.

The arms strike harder and throw with increased throwforce, and if both arms are cyber, you can break out of handcuffs. If the chest is cyber, arms can be removed easily the same way as cyborg limbs are removed currently.

Cyber-legs would probably remain much as they are now. Possibly the legs could have built-in toggleable magboots whereas treads go faster and can't fall over?

New:
network interface
"This component, inserted directly into a human brain, connects them to the station's network, making them subservient to the AI and its laws."
Open the top of the head with the scalpel, open the skull with the saw, apply the implant. Can't be removed. Gives them the cyborg's control over machines, but also requires them to follow laws. Cyber-networking always takes precedence over a worn or carried ID.

Then of course there'd be things like replacing the top of the head with helmets, grafting on some kind of advanced facemask, cyberears, cybereyes, if you cyber up enough you'd be immune to disease and cold - but you would have to be very heavily cybered...
