At first I was skeptical about this random cryo prison VR thing, until I saw that it was a digial penal mining colony.

I love it.

The bitcoin mining really sells this idea.

I guess the only problem I have is the fact that it makes prisoner management a lot easier, and escape harder. I like the idea of freedom implants essentially providing the prisoners with cheat codes, and would like to see more tricky ways a prisoner could cheat the system. Another way to go would be to make these pods optional to bored prisoners that don't want to escape.
