A dastardly tracking beacon that always shows up on the teleporter computer as what the user wants it to, even going as far as to override any legitimate beacons in the designated area. Thus you can set it to "medbay" but throw the thing into an asteroid full of fermids and no one will know the difference. At least until it's too late.

sounds like something that should come in a kit with the teleport gun instead of being its own purchase.
