I've witnessed this first hand. There seems to be a bug in the atmos code which is causes extremely miniscule amounts of gas to skyrocket to extraordinarily high temperatures when they come into contact with heat. At least that's my best guess.
I remember me and another player made a sauna using a space heater in a very low pressure environment. Shit was catching fire at random from this crummy little heater running at 40 degrees celsius or something. Once I introduced more oxygen it stopped.
