Reverse Engineer Fabricator Broken

Every single time I go to use the fabricator, after scanning an item and loading a blueprint into the machine, it spits out an error, stating that the blueprint is corrupted.

This has happened 3 rounds in a row, and I have blamed it on others on the first two, and went ballistic on command the second time. Why is it broken, and is there a way to fix the damned thing!?
