If a traitor can plant a traitor item in the backpack of some sap, get away with it, and then claim the sap is a traitor, then I won't fault anyone for thinking of it.

This is exactly the same fucking thing as what happened, like Dauntasa said the AI has no reason to lie, and in fact it is compelled to tell the truth under it's normal laws. If you have both the AI and multiple cyborgs swearing to something, 9 times out of 10 you can take it to the bank. If you have enough lies from great sources like that that's really just the fucking same as faking fingerprint evidence.

This one wasn't me by the way. I checked to see who uploaded the law and once I saw it was a traitor I was just fine with it.

Then do you know who who DID do it? Part of the problem I had with this is that nobody bothered to explain what was up.
