Genetics: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

As an aside, with the new forensics additions, would it be possible for Genetics and/or Robotics to have a modified handheld scanner in their offices to help out with security? It'd be the same as the regular scanner but it sent out a PDA message to security when scanning bodies or evidence. Considering how often people just drag bodies to medbay before anyone gets a good look they would come in handy.
