GeneTek scanners have finite oxygen

All containers have finite oxygen. It's about 30-40 minutes worth.

You're not completely boned, though - put internals on your monks, they'll be fine.

I was made aware of this solution, but it just doesn't make sense that running out of air in a closet/scanner/bathtub/whatever creates a nebulous void of suffocation that persists even after the container has been opened, exposed to the air, and should have been refilled with more air. That's how air works, unless I'm mistaken.
