Pies aren't working

The recipe for an X cream pie on the wiki just produces a normal cream pie.[...]

Please read the notes. The X cream pie only accepts food items (with few exceptions, certain recipes may interfere), whereas any item can be baked into the other dynamic pie. If you try to use a stun baton or whatever, the oven will discard it and just make a regular cream pie instead.
