This is probably an awful idea, but it would be amusing to watch two buddies destroy each other in combat.

Take battlebots/other remote control bots with the sole objective to kill other bots.

Apply that to buddies.

so basically

battlebuddy frame + welder/chainsaw/etc + robot arm

Control with a battlebuddy remote.

battlebuddies can only target other battlebuddies, unless emagged, then they'll only attack anyone not holding their battlebuddy remote.



Weapon assortment is limited to things that make sense as buddy weapons, and not guns or tasers.
