It was more of in response to Aparthied.
Because why complain about glue foam sticking everybody when you can already be a huge total jerk with space lube and no one cares.
Space lube is like the exact opposite and already exists. I see no reason why a mildly annoying glue couldn't exist on the station along with a stronger jerk glue.
