On that note perhaps toolboxes to the head and other heavy items to the head should increase the chance of tooth knockouts. Just because hitting someone in the mouth with a toolbox is probably not good for your teeth.
Also perhaps teeth should carry dna and some forensic type stuff, so detective can prove someone got their tooth knocked out in a certain area, or some sick traitor can mail the detective someone's teeth and challenge them to solve the crime. For instance "Guy hit in the face" should probably leave a "this tooth is chipped" message,

Detective could scan and see "huh, these teeth were pulled, but these teeth were knocked out, that and the dna proves that our tooth thief is using any means to remove teeth, and has multiple toothless victims"
