I agree with the cactus'. Should be able to stick someone by hiding it in a backpack.

Also bamboo for beating sticks, traps, and needles.

Use the slag shovel to dig holes in earthen tiles, place in bamboo for a punji stake pit to trap that most dangerous of prey.
