Explosion power is bugged (?)

If you light one while it's in a person's mouth, does it still seriously wound/kill them? I like using trick cigs because they are cheap and stylish, but I have noticed that their explosions are fairly wimpy.

I can confirm trick cigs will gib bodies if dropped ontop of them. Aside from that I tricked someone into smoking it. They were knocked down, but not wounded all that much.

I can also confirm they hardly do much property damage which is a crying shame. They can't be used to destroy APC's.
