A ling decided to take on Tranquility, the AI, after shooting a borg to death. This did not end well for him.

He ended up stuck in telesci, constantly being bitten into crit by fermids, and being stunned and cuffed by Mr. Beepsky. He managed to stay alive by using his two kinds of regeneration and the DNA points of the 16 people he had absorbed.
Eventually, though, Tranquility sent him somewhere else, a death he couldn't regen out of:
