My point above is any word designed to insult a specific set of people... is bigotry. Bigotry doesn't become ok just because the people you're insulting are a majority, or a small section of them are "empowered". Degradation of a person based on race, sexuality, or other variables beyond their control doesn't have a limitation. If it's wrong for one set, it's wrong for all. THAT is equality. Not this idea that "oh, well they are part of a group empowered by a system, it's totes ok to slam them". You can't preach equality and tolerance and then only follow it on one side of the coin. THAT is hypocrisy.
