General Suggestions Thread! V2.0

Why does everyone ask for a zoo? Why would an in-space research station have a zoo? What would the zookeeper do? What would be the purpose of having the zoo? Where would it go? What would it contain? How would this stay balanced with the rest of the jobs when many animals are killing machines? How would we stop people from letting the Space Gorillas out? Why are all these questions all unanswered even though I've seen this suggestion dozens of times?
