For the Chaplain. (Or maybe just a surplus item. I had to think of SOMETHING to replace his grace.)
What about a Cluwne-a-tizer ray?
Would have the flaregun sprite, but bright lime green.
Cost would be pretty expensive if it's a chaplain item and not a surplus only weapon.
Has a slight delay before firing, like the wizards shocking grasp spell, but fires a projectile. Has a long recharge. This means it's only effective against people who are unaware or stunned.
Anyone hit by the projectile is turned into a demented yellow cluwne. These cluwnes would be free game for all, and would wear different clothes to make them recognizable. The point of the weapon would be to distract everyone as many players would never pass up the opportunity to murder someone if it's allowed.
