I was thinking something along the lines of "it can and probably will kill you, but if it's smoking a blunt for 30 minutes maybe ignore it?"

if it's smoking a blunt for 30 minutes go beat its head in for wasting everyone's time.

Replace smoking a blunt with some fun, cool, mostly non-lethal gimmick then.
