I seem to remember Cogworks trying to push a campaign to get people to not be boring antags/civvies by coming up with silly gimmicks as traitors and by not murdering traitors right off the bat as civilians, even going so far as to maybe try going along with their silly gimmick. I'm always afraid to be a silly gimmicky traitor because I worry I'll still get murdered for trying.

4 out of the 5 times when I have tried to gimmick as an antag I got murdered right off the bat by vigilantes.

sometimes I wonder why I try, but then I remember the time I did succeed and that was hilarious.

I know how shitty it is for gimmicks to fail constantly because some jerk is just really unfun. That being said, when they do work, it feels pretty awesome. Still, I wish people would play around with more gimmicks and appreciate how fun they can be, even if it gets them killed.
