Seriously, ive watched the engine, with all the pipes busted, reach over 2 Zeta Watts worth of power output. The best way to learn how to engine is just watch an engineer that looks like he knows what he's doing. See the Chief Engineer putting holes in the floor? ask him to give you pointers. Im fairly sure that a lot of dudes would be more than willing to teach you (including me) because its real nice to consistently have power for the whole round.
