Mysterious Segway Bug

Right so get this, riding along in a segway through a breach and I get stuck. So i gotta get off the segway and do some hobo inertia by throwing something to move through space but I can't. The segway is glued to me like a clingy ex. It is literally for all the world on-top of me. I tried to lie down and move but nope. The annoying thing was that I was beside actual ground to my right should in theory I should've been able to move.
