You are a relatively communicative and knowledgeable officer. You're quick with a taser, keep a cool head, occasionally delegate desk work to assistants and brobocops (towards me at least- Whether they've done it for others, I can't say.) No problems there.
That being said, I do have some concerns that prevent me from giving a +1 at this time.
From a security perspective, while you're certainly on top of things, I've never seen you train a new officer, or take the time to check on people other than those you know. Things that a HoS should know to do, in my eyes. You've shown some initiative delegating, which is a good start. Ask for feedback, offer assistance, keep people on track. Take some time to coordinate and roleplay with more of your team and crew. You've shown you can lead from the front. Now let's see you lead from the back.
Speaking of IC interactions, your RP tends to be limited to the people you're already familiar with. This is particularly apparent with your other character Avoids, where you'll often spend the whole round talking to your IC partners and only leaving to do your job. Whenever one of the polycule rolls traitor, the other members often get mindhacked or defend/assist each other beyond the usual limits. (Cloning someone who suicide bombed medbay, allowing non-sec friends to loiter in security, etc.) On multiple occasions, I and others have been unsure if you were antagging, or just pushing the partner bit too far. It's gotten to the point where, whenever one of you gets antag, I expect to be handling you all. That sort of preferential treatment is unfair to every other player, especially coming from a supposedly impartial position of authority like the HoS. I haven't seen as much of this watching you play Hunter, but felt the issue was worth noting regardless.
tl;dr mechanically you're fine, talk to more people more often and you'll be great
First of all, let me thank you for taking your time to read my application and providing me some feedback. I really appreciate it.
About the security advice I will take note of what you are saying in this post and work to do better in those fields. I really want to do things nicely as an officer and I appreciate any feedback in this field that can help me to be a better one.
About the IC interactions, I totally acknowledge the issue you are talking about here (as you say mainly with my character Avoids) and I want to say that is an issue I'm actively working to solve. I personally think that I'm handling it better with my other characters (Hunter and my newly created Fennel Rodriguez) but I will be working on the matter with them too.
About the antaging topic, let me say that I don't have antag enabled in any of my characters from well before the creation of Avoids because of a bad experience that I had in game. I'm not even a fan of mindhacks but its a thing that can happen in the rounds and you have to roll with it.
About the examples you provide, the first one if i remember correctly i was not the person cloning the suicide bomber, they was being cloned when i arrived the medbay, but i can understand how you or anyone would think that i was the one doing the cloning.
Said all this, let me finish saying that, even if this application got denied, I’m aware of my IC interactions flaws and I will keep working on them not only to become a person reliable to play the HoS position, but also to become a better player.
