Reason for application + game experience (300 word minimum):
My reason for the application is simple, I enjoy helping people if they have questions, also I really enjoy this community.
This is the first community in my almost 27 years of life who I more or less actively interact with and care about. For this reason I would enjoy being able to help more to keep what I enjoy about this community and the people here going.
Being a mentor would help with that because I would be able to help the new people who still struggle with the game to enjoy it more by helping them to understand how things work, or even older players who haven't tried some specific thing and would like to know how to.
My main experience as some people might have guessed is in security, which is why I also applied a while ago for HoS and became one.
While being HoS I still could help people because HoS are seen as player with knowledge at least in the security department. There is probably some things I still don't know in sec, but I always try to learn new things.
I personally would say I have at least in every department basic knowledge, yes most of my time I probably spent in sec but I also have a lot of hours in other departments and with that knowledge I feel confident that I can at least guide people to some degree and if not I probably learn something new from another mentor who has more wisdom in that part.
I currently have roughly 1,780 hours of play time on goon. And it will probably become a lot more. I would say I have the least amount of knowledge when it comes to the classic server and special things that are only there, I mainly play only on RP.
I not only hope that should I become a mentor that I can help more people with their questions but also learn more while doing so, and keep the positive energy this community provided to me going.
My experience also is on the antagonistic side of things, of course again least amount of knowledge in the antag roles that are mostly on classic and maybe sometimes on RP if an admin feels funny that day. But I would say I know a lot about most antags.
Overall I would say I have a lot of experience in this game and on this server, enough to help or guide people, I will say so far I haven't been active on the question section on the discord server, which is a thing I try to be more, but also people are fast when it comes to answering questions so I haven't seen many chances. Otherwise in game I taught multiple people in different departments how things work, sometimes spending the whole round for example just in the engine room to explain people how it works, which never mothered me even if I had planned to do something in a round, time just fly's by while doing so and people are often thankful for all the help.
Previous bans (while this will not affect your application lying about it will): One ban for 30 minutes, because I said a meme thing on a prayer, but I think that was more of a joke ban because I was unbanned directly after, but I still wanted it to mention should it be relevant.
Otherwise just a warnig I think once 2 years ago or something, never repeated the thing I did ever since
