Plus I’m not sure how to feel about a changeling being able to get other antag powers anyways.

It's so rare I think it's funny enough to keep in the game but that's just me

I agree a bit, yeah. Though, putting this on feedback just in case if it is a bug or will lead to more jank and buggy stuff.
