The nature of Jailbird crimes

Maybe the trait doesn't mark you round start and an event can trigger the arrest status sort of like a "Be on the look out for John Nanotrasen, for he did *THIS*" thing?

I'm not a rp player I'm just bored and wondering why this subforum is still not marked as read but I think this would be the most preferable outcome it sounds fun. There's already an illegal trinkets event right? Having another similar event like that but for jailbirds sounds great, better than appendicitis every 20 minutes. 

Making stowaways a job was a nice change for the trait; so my brain automatically says "make criminal a role " but that sounds like it would just encourage all the wrong behaviors and expectations. 

They need to improve the brig if they do that. It'd probably just end up becoming like TG. I don't think that's a bad thing, but I don't see that happening, most of the good features of TG like non-cloning based revivals aren't being put into goonstation but the crappy GUI is a must have apparently.

Also I think cutting ideas for the sake of players might once in a blue moon get the wrong idea and break the indistinct badly clarified rules is a cop-out, moderation exists, and even better security is a playable role in the game, but that's my personal and unpopular opinion.
