i consider Rat a friend/acquaintance, so this response will be inherently biased. but, I do find that Rat is both knowledgeable and I personally trust them not to metacommunicate. In fact, I've coordinated with Rat a few times to do some reactor shenanigans n such, and but all metacomms have either: Occurred before or after a round, or as acknowledgements to a joking reference or something during a round. They've stuck with chatting through in-game means even when, realistically, we probably could've easily gotten away with just using discord or something to coordinate our reactor efforts.
in short: yeah they don't metacomm and, personally, pass my vibe check. plus also they stink, give em the purple. +1
