I'm not sure if it's an issue of folks not reading the chat window, but sometimes I try to spark up conversation on highpop and get nothing in response.

This could be a multitude of reasons, of course, and I'm not saying one server is better than the other for RP. It all comes down to preference and the speed / style folks enjoy. Just tossing my two cents in to say that sometimes highpop feels like it lacks the enjoyment of letting doctors do doctor rp and engineers do engineering rp without 3 people doing it themselves as a staffie.

Granted, sometimes I hop over on highpop and it's totally chill, so I think it just depends on the time of day, who is playing, etc etc. That's my experience anyhow.

As a newer player, I've experienced both sides of this issue. I usually play on the high population server, like I assume most new players do. It’s possible that what I said over the radio was better left ignored, since it might have just been the uninformed chatter of a newbie. Still, I’ve had mixed success using the radio. On the other hand, I also find it difficult to keep track of sporadic radio messages when there’s a lot going on.
