Most of time I die by mining relate to want to fuck around trap like sea mine , erebite and try to fight some strong critter
And yes mostly hostile creature can beat by ramming the sun to it. With few welder you have you can go to reach the end of map without any trouble. Also mining often have one industrial putt /pod already the chance your survival rate is quite high all you need is somesafe technique
