I do wish there was some streamlined way for ranchers and geneticists to communicate and send stuff between them, it could open up more things in the future but right now it could be really good for things like erebite chickens, which die in childhood if you don't give them rad resist. They'll probably die still, but yknow.

interesting that u mention some specific gene that necessary for survival 
make some breed of chicken have to work together!
