I am largely neutral leaning to a +1 on this, but might want to see a BIT more change before I’m comfortable with the full support.
Now for details!
Starting off positive, I had a very frustrating round (not because of you!) working alongside your character Kafka yesterday. We had an issue with a lot of ‘minor’ crimes piling up into something far more effort than it was worth dealing with. Eventually, we settled on exile, then escalated to execution. All the while, we had several members of the crew getting upset with security for how we handled this situation. I found myself getting emote glared at and told off for our decisions that round— and quite frankly, it sucked. HOWEVER: Kafka was unafraid to exile and execute a troublesome crewmember, and was totally willing to listen to the security team’s input as to what we wanted to happen that round. This is excellent imo: this wasn’t a case of ‘security getting bored on extended and getting violent’, but rather, a decision the team came to unanimously (with Kafka in full support) after a frustrating series of events that led us there. It’s common to see security be a little too lax on people that are taking minor crime too far, so it was a relief as a member of the security team to have support with getting rid of the trouble.
To end that round off security had some laughs on shuttle and Kafka rewarded everyone with numerous objects from their bag. Very funny, goofy, a good way to lighten the mood. 10/10 experience there!
My only main concern is as follows:
It feels rare to see you finish out a round on the same character you started with. This is not counting rounds where you’ve died and respawn (because this is totally fine) or rounds where you’ve had to cryo early and log off for the day. Let me emphasize that cryoing is totally fine and I’m happy to see people comfortable with it when they need a break.
My concern here is that I’ll see you join security on one character. Play for … twenty minutes or more— and then cryo suddenly. Then, when the respawn timer is up, you’re back on a different character playing security after observing for a bit. I won’t be sitting here and claiming you’re using any information you get from observing to help you, because I haven’t seen any indication of that— but it’s just something to be mindful of. This happens quite a lot, and I worry what might happen if you as the HoS struggle to finish a full round without cryoing to swap to a different security character.
Using cryo and taking breaks is fine, I have no issue with this. For me, I just worry that it will get in the way of the rounds in general if you are playing a command/security role and using cryo in this way moving forward.
My advice is that if you need a break, maybe just cryo and don’t observe if you still want to play security that round? You could still come back on your original character after walking away for the time you need. I know you’ve been sick recently OOC and I’m sure that contributes too, and I would never blame you for taking breaks because of that. I just think that leaving and coming back on other characters out of the blue starts making the security team a little confused at times.
Anyways, I’ll stop rambling on and on. I hope this is helpful in general. Please don’t take any criticisms personally, as the positives are still very good. This is just a bit of advice from a newer, still-learning security player to you, one that is a bit more familiar than I am. Like I said, in terms of support I am neutral leaning into positive.
Good luck!

About cryoing i'll work on it i again thank you for the help feedback and i hope i can work more in sec with you on the team. Take care and have a Nice day/evening/night.
