From my knowledge of Hera as a person and a player, I think she would make a fantastic mentor. It takes a lot of skill to intentionally put yourself in the hotseat and thrive. I've seen her in many sitations where I can tell she's being put under a lot of pressure to perform and know the answers, or to act as a leader, and in spite of it I have rarely if ever seen her visibly flounder.
I can't speak to specific situations of her helping other new players, but I can speak to situations where she's helped me, and I've never felt like I was stupid or disrespected when learning from her, and that's huge points in my books, and 100% what I want to see from mentors (and others in general, frankly.) In addition to that, she's a great roleplayer, and I can tell she has no issues being able to rope players, whether she knows them or not, into shenanigans. Giant +1 from me.
