If it were a makeup kit item you could have a menu for different "makeup styles" like how borgs get a menu to change their screen face. Like just apply over it to change the style. As for removal, maybe a specific chemical which you get with the kit in a small bottle, apply on a sponge or towel or handkerchief and use to wipe off. what chemical exactly? idk! would probably have to check in game ones or like what real makeup remover uses. alternatively it could use acetone since thats whats used for sticker removal and clown paint theoretically is extra durable or something haha
