By "however that might make me sound" I mean, to me this statement feels as if I'm tooting my own horn and I don't want anyone to think that I believe that I'm better than others who may not be objective and show favouritism,
Perhaps 'contradict' is too harsh because the mentioned round only happened once.
I rolled a Traitor Captain the other day. I was given an uplink which I didn't use until the very end and went on to spread rumors and gain a following. My targets were players that are more frequent and more knowledgable to the game because I wanted a strong start and not drag out the buildup. That saying, that would be as far as my metagaming goes, such as targetting certain players whose playstyles I know and the ones that I know what to expect of.
It was because I hadn't bought any mindhacks or such items, saving the tatorcoins for a syndicate tophat for the grand reveal.
I wanted to start of with players who are more open minded to things involving RP. Ones that won't scream meta stuff over comms and ruin the round.
In conclusion, I mentioned it because it was a relatively recent event and I want full transparency. and a captain antag is rather rare and I wanted to involve as many people and hopefully bring some excitement into the round
