Not going to comment on the post itself as honestly, I don't feel qualified to beyond saying it sucks you feel like that.
But to clarify how the barberang currently works for the thread: It does remove the hair as a wig when used/thrown. It also puts that wig in the empty hand of the thrower/user (if empty, otherwise it drops it at their feet) this can be worn in the space of the helmet slot.
