RICC has been a pleasant surprise as a new-ish player (or at least not someone I'd seen around before the last few months) - I was happy to see someone grab the mechanics with both hands and run with them.
When I've played AI I've come across them a lot, and more than once seen them delay the tradition of immediately starting the engine to teach new engineers- which is amazing and shows the kind of attitude I'm very happy to recommend for mentor.
