Fun read! I enjoyed the aspects of worldbuilding around the planet and solar system, reminds me a little of Kim Stanley Robinson (Mars trilogy, worth a read if you haven't before)
It looks to me like some rapid disaster occurred of which the exact details are a mystery to me at least from my reading comprehension though there are little hints. There's some mystery details: seeing skeletonized people in such a short time definitely raises questions among others I'd always love to see expanded on.
For a snapshot story for character lore I think it's really interesting and has plenty of plot hooks to expand for Raoul as a character: What happened to any other survivors. What's the place like now, what actually happened etc, the final figure at the end.
