Radio Show Hosts need more crew interaction
#6
I legitimately think the opposite but admit it's all debatable: give the radio host the tools to broadcast on the go: A hookup mic an wearable broadcaster. Let them be the reporter on the ground. Shove the mic in people's faces and broadcast across the station. Sure, there's the TV/Camera network, but I want my radio hosts on the ground reporting direct and able to do it live on the radio channel.

Why? Because it gives radio hosts another avenue that incidentally I'm likely to appreciate personally when I'm doing a job role that keeps me in one place for a lot of the shift. It gives the radio host -direct- engagement. It makes them more likely to get eaten/killed/exploded on scene too, and it -also- gives antagonists a nice free person to potentially steal for a hostage situation who -also- has a nice platform to tell people about it. You can do this at the radio station too of course, but this way instead of a fixed location it could be anywhere.

In less violent terms, it also lets radio hosts make use of a station area for a competition. It's a bit simpler and easier to source potential contestants on station than relying on people (and ferrying materials for construction) to you.

In short: give Radio hosts some kind of portable radio kit for reporting broadcasts, if they want to engage with the crew directly that way they can. Vox Populi vox d-URK!
