you can check DNR status through the medical records, I believe. also iirc strange reagent is sort of a high-risk-high-reward nonstandard method of resurrection (as opposed to how straightforward but time consuming/mildly inconvenient cloning is) so it doesn't really make sense to take the bite out of it. consequences are necessary for gameplay choices to feel impactful!!
